Sunburst supports green products, designs, and buildings. We reuse materials whenever we can. We recycle water used to cool parts as they’re finished in the ovens. We reuse packaging supplies. We reuse shutter fragments – or regrind them and turn them into new shutters. We end up recycling hundreds of tons of materials every year.

When we prepare our window treatments to be transported to your residence for installation, we place reusable corner pieces on the sides of the louvers and use the least amount of cardboard to package the shutters.

Our louvered shutters use paints that are shown to be hypoallergenic and environmentally safe. In our manufacturing process, our paints don’t emit fumes. We mean it when we claim our paints are safe.
